Conflict

Poorly managed Conflict situations are probably the most recognisable cause of stress and upset in today’s workplace. Interestingly, conflict situations often tend to hang from a few repeated patterns of behaviour on the part of one or all parties involved. By understanding these patterns, delegates can actively manage, or even head off potential conflict situations that have arisen, to a positive outcome for all parties involved.

This taster session will leave learners keen to manage conflict situations differently in the future.

Benefits to you :

  • Handle conflict with power and authority and manage it within your life
  • Recognise patterns of conflict and manage yourself in conflict situations
  • A toolkit of strategies to reduce the levels of conflict
  • A structure to help see the other person’s point of view
  • The potential to turn conflict into opportunity

This session uses an overview of the Thomas Killman Conflict model to illustrate typical habits in conflict.
