Setting up a Project Support Office1 day

If multiple projects run simultaneously in an organisation, there are great benefits to be gained from the establishment of a Project Support Office (PSO) to centralise the co-ordination of resources, plans and ideas. Especially, as most projects are not run in isolation but overlap and a PSO enables strategic decisions to be made regarding all projects.

This workshop enables participants to identify the benefits of setting up a PSO, how they promote, support and maintain good project practice, on an individual project and consolidated basis.

This course helps learners to :

  • Understand the roles and functions of the PSO
  • Identify the PSO’s generic benefits
  • Recognise how the PSO operates within the project system
  • Develop a PSO implementation strategy

Throughout this highly interactive course there are opportunities to practice and test the skills you are learning.
