Professional Coaching
We coach you to be more successful and effective at work. We help you understand your own potential and what gets in the way of realising it to the full. When you can do this for yourself, you can do it for others too.
Coaching allows you to talk through problems with someone who has a fresh perspective. It allows you to pull your thinking together, clarify the future and explore better strategies for dealing with your challenges and your people.
- Do you worry that you’re not reaching your full potential?
- Do you feel the same about your team?
- Is your strategy overwhelmed by day-to-day issues?
- Are you feeling the effects of stress?
- Are you tackling the same problems again and again?
All our coaching is bespoke and designed around your personal requirements and availability. Typically sessions are in-person or by the phone, weekly or bi-weekly and about an hour long.
The information shared in business coaching sessions is confidential, and is not discussed outside of the client and coach relationship. The high level of trust allows for in-depth examination of particular situations, behaviours or challenges facing an individual or group.
Situations when professional coaching raised the bar on performance:
- For a high potential Sales Manager whose career advancement depends on the ability to demonstrate professional maturity
- For a government Senior Executive who wants workable strategies to manage employee resistance to large-scale change
- For a telecommunications Manager who wants to improve leadership skills to better handle an increase in staffing and business
- For a rising star Director who needs to demonstrate a range of emotional intelligence skills with key clients, staff and management
- For a senior HR Professional who wants to be more confident and improve their decision-making in difficult, high risk situations
- For a CEO in retail who experiences difficulty and tension after initiating workforce efficiency standards
Our Approach
A good discussion can change attitudes and behaviour - this seems to work best when they're used to understand rather than convince. We focus on creating the right conditions for this kind of dialogue.
We use the following steps when embarking on a coaching programme:
- Agreement - A ‘coaching contract’ is set up, which clarifies the objectives and business outcomes desired.
- Recognition – Through the sessions, you begin to see your behaviours more objectively, you begin to choose responses rather than react from habit.
- On-going development – You debate, experiment and reflect. With your coach you refine your skills, and continually improve.
- Evaluation – Throughout the process and on completion, you will review and evaluate the original objectives and gauge your success.
