Trainer Profile

“My strong sales and account management background gives me an edge in designing and delivering supplier management training, as I am able to relate the topic from the supplier as well as the client/customer perspective.”
Before becoming a training consultant, Richard Moxham gained considerable commercial experience with large, US-owned multinationals in a number of sales, marketing and operations management roles. He now brings this experience to bear in the training arena, using a pragmatic business approach to deliver cutting-edge supplier management courses, with a focus on the management of strategically key suppliers who provide outsourced, and often offshored services.
As a trainer, he works extensively with multinational clients in the UK and mainland Europe so is experienced in working in multi culture environments where often English is not the first language for many of the participants. Whilst the majority of his work is with the corporate sector he has worked with public sector organisations in the UK and at the EU level. In addition to his work in the niche supplier management area, he also delivers broader based business skills training such as negotiation, performance management and effective time management – a topic on which he has written a book “Taming Time”.
Outside of work he is a keen runner, a frequent gym visitor, and studies 20th century history.
